Introduction to the institute
The School of Life and Marine Sciences of Shenzhen University was founded in 2002. It currently has a high-level teaching staff (including 2 academicians, more than 10 national-level talents of various types, and more than 100 full-time teachers); it has a doctorate in the first-level discipline of biology doctoral program in the second-level discipline of photobiology, and master's degree in the 2 first-level disciplines of biology and ecology points, a master's degree program in biology and medicine, and two national first-class undergraduate majors in biological science and biotechnology; biology and biochemistry, environmental science/ecology, zoology and botany, agricultural science, neuroscience and behavior Science, genetics, molecular biology and other related disciplines have successively entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings. The School of Life and Marine Sciences of Shenzhen University has excellent experimental conditions and has 2,024 sets of instruments and equipment with a total value of 101.61 million yuan, including 125 large-scale instruments and equipment worth more than 100,000 yuan, with a total value of 75.73 million yuan. Currently, there are microscopic analysis test platforms, chromatography mass spectrometry analysis test platforms, spectral biology analysis test platforms, molecular biology analysis test platforms, proteomics research platforms, marine monitoring analysis platforms, and biological fermentation and culture platforms that serve scientific research. Large-scale instrument and equipment public service platforms including technology platforms.
Introduction to cooperative tutors
Liu Hongtao , School of Life and Marine Sciences, Shenzhen University, Distinguished Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He has successively won the "Outstanding Youth Fund", "Outstanding Youth Fund", "Key Points", "Original Exploration" from the National Foundation of China, the National "Ten Thousand Thousand People Plan" Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talents, and the Ministry of Science and Technology's "Promotion Plan" Young and Middle-aged Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talents. Funded by the "Hundred Talents Program" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai's "Excellent Academic Leaders", "Pujiang Talents" and other projects. From long-term research on plant light signal transduction, we have discovered the molecular mechanism of light and temperature cooperatively regulating plant development; revealed the molecular mechanism of plants adapting to changes in UV-B levels and coordinating growth and stress responses; and pioneered the regulation of green light signals. New research directions in plant development. Relevant research has been published as the corresponding author in internationally renowned academic journals such as Cell, Cell Host & Microbe, Developmental Cell, Nature Plants, Nature Structure & Molecular Biology, Nature Communications, EMBO J, PNAS, and Plant Cell. Relevant results have been reviewed by authoritative international academic publications such as Developmental Cell, Nature Plants, NSMB, and Plant Cell. Several papers have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. She serves as the president of the Female Scientists Branch of the Chinese Society of Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology, and an editorial board member of journals such as Plant Cell, Current Biology, PNAS, Science China (Life Sciences), JIPB, Plant Communications, and aBIOTECH. Received awards such as the "Special Government Allowance of the State Council", "China Youth Science and Technology Award", "China Young Female Scientist Award", "Zhongke San'an Photobiology Outstanding Contribution Award", "Asia-Pacific Photobiology Society Young Scientist Award" and other awards.
